Headed the design for the photography studio and main offices for Day XiX located on the east side of LA. Jnkarts converted an old special effects studio with lots of little dark rooms into a open spacious set of offices in the front section of the building which was conducive to an artistic community to create a social camaraderie between office tenants.
In this stunning Malibu beach house remodel my client hired me to focus on designing and building the out the kitchen, bathroom cabinets and vanity. The natural look of these elements extended into the living space with the floor to ceiling bookcase that doubled as a bar. Also wood details were created in the doorways creating a nice natural modern touch.
In this project I created a laid back but creative vibe for the up and coming Mistress agency located 2 blocks from the beach in Venice, CA. First I designed & built a large surf rack not only for a beautiful decor but to house the partners boards when they took their surf breaks during the day. I then went on to design a large 12 foot white sliding barn door used to block the hot sun during the day that glared through glass blocks during the daytime. My proudest creations for this project are the two cabin conference rooms, the main large one for important meetings and a small, two to three person nook that we called "the snug". #Jnkarts.com
Built in bookcase made from a classic combination of white oak bookshelves with pure white storage cabinets. This piece extends from floor to ceiling and wall to wall inviting one into the living room with warmth and elegance.

Here we updated the kitchen by simply removing the old overhead cabinets & replacing them with long horizontal shelves. We kept the bottom cabinets in tact & painted them a nice white along with the new shelves, which gave the kitchen some much needed breathing room as well as adding a modern touch.

Custom Bi Fold accordion style doors open the newly renovated beach house den directly to the open air to let the warm sea breeze flow in. This rendition is unique because each door has its own pop out window which gives the client multiple options on how much they want to open up. Milled from rough redwood, finished with a dark stain and varnish for long lasting protection.
